Nothing goes in any bin if it's asbestos, liquid paint, solvent, pesticide, motor oil, a gas bottle, a car battery or a tyre. Asbestos in particular is a legal issue in Queensland, not just a policy one. It has to go through a licensed removalist to a licensed facility.

The load has to sit level with the rim. An overfilled bin can't be legally transported, so the driver will either ask you to remove the excess or charge for a return trip. Load heavy flat items on the bottom and fill gaps as you go.
