How much does a concrete skip bin cost in Brisbane?

Our bins start from $275 for a 2m³, including delivery, hire and collection. Loads that are 100% concrete, bricks or pavers get a discounted rate, because clean concrete and masonry can be crushed and recycled. Mixing in timber, plaster or general rubbish means the load is priced as mixed waste instead.

What size skip bin do I need for concrete and bricks?

Concrete, bricks and pavers are heavy, so for this waste the bin's weight rules matter more than its volume.

• 2m³ or 3m³: a small path, a few rows of pavers, a garden edge or a small brick wall.
• 6m³: the right bin for heavy loads. It has no weight restriction, so you can fill it with slab, footings or brick without worrying about a surcharge. Its walk-in rear door lets you wheelbarrow rubble straight in.
• 9m³: tonnage restrictions apply to heavy materials, so for a pure concrete load the 6m³ is usually the better choice.

Can I put reinforced concrete or roof tiles in the bin?

Roof and concrete tiles, stone, mortar and render are all fine. Concrete with exposed reinforcing steel needs checking first, so call us on 07 3067 8902 before you load it. Asbestos and contaminated concrete can't go in any skip bin. If you're not sure whether old sheeting or tiles contain asbestos, have them tested before you start.

Do I need a permit for the skip bin?

Not if the bin sits on your driveway or other private land, which is where most of our bins go. A bin on the street or footpath needs a permit from your local council. Tell us where the bin will sit when you book, and check the surface is firm and level with room for the truck to get in and out.
