How to Compare Brisbane Skip Bin Companies

What should I check when comparing skip bin hire?

1. What the price includes. Ask whether delivery, the hire period and collection are all in the quoted price. Our prices include delivery, hire and collection.
2. The bin's real dimensions. "6 cubic metres" can mean different shapes. Ask for length, width and height so you know it fits your driveway. Ours are listed on every bin size page.
3. Walk-in access. A rear door or ramp lets you wheel a barrow straight in instead of lifting everything over the side. Every Skippy bin from 3m³ up is walk-in.
4. How the waste is priced. General, mixed heavy, green waste, clean fill and concrete are usually priced differently. Check which category your load falls into before you book. See our waste types.
5. Weight rules. Heavy materials can attract limits on larger bins. Our 6m³ bin has no weight restriction; tonnage restrictions apply to heavy materials in the 9m³.
6. What can't go in. Asbestos, chemicals, paints, oils, batteries, gas bottles, tyres, liquids and medical waste are not accepted in standard skip bins. Ask before you load anything unusual.
7. Where the bin can go. A bin on your driveway or private land needs no permit. A bin on the street or footpath usually needs a council permit. Check who arranges it.
