Skip bin sizes available

2m³ skip bin

Small household clean-ups, garden waste, DIY projects. Roughly 8 to 10 wheelie bins.

3m³ to 4m³ skip bins

Kitchen and bathroom renovations, furniture removal, garage clean-outs. The 4m³ is the most commonly booked bin in Brisbane.

6m³ skip bins

Large home renovations, construction waste, roofing materials, commercial projects.

9m³ skip bins

Demolition, factory clean-ups, large commercial sites and multi-room renovations. Our largest bin.

Rear door access bins

Available on selected bins. The door drops open so heavy material can be wheelbarrowed in at ground level rather than lifted over the wall.

How booking a skip bin actually works

  • Step one: your suburb. This tells us whether we service you and sets the delivery component of the price.
  • Step two: your waste type. General waste, green waste, light building waste, mixed heavy, concrete or soil. If you're not sure, general waste is the safe default for household clean-outs and light building waste is right for renovation debris. This choice affects the price more than the size does.
  • Step three: your bin size. 2m³, 3m³, 4m³, 6m³ or 9m³. Count your waste in wheelie bin loads, add twenty percent, and pick the size above your estimate.
  • Step four: your dates. Delivery and collection. Same day delivery is available on most bookings before midday. The standard hire period is included.
  • Step five: confirm. You'll get a confirmation with a delivery window. The bin arrives, you fill it, we collect it.

The whole thing takes a few minutes online. If you'd rather talk it through, ring 07 3067 8902 and we'll book it for you.

Delivery day and what to have ready

You don't need to be home, provided the access is clear and the drop point is obvious. If placement matters, say so when you book. Something like "behind the gate, not on the front slab" saves a phone call.

Before the truck arrives: move cars off the driveway, check for low branches and power lines above the drop point, and make sure the surface is solid and reasonably level. Soft or wet ground is a genuine problem, because a loaded bin will sink and then can't be collected.

You'll get a delivery window rather than an exact time. Traffic and access problems on earlier jobs move the schedule around, and no operator who tells you otherwise is being straight with you.

Filling the bin properly

Load flat heavy items along the bottom, then fill the gaps with smaller things. Break down furniture and flatten boxes. A packed bin holds noticeably more than one that's had everything thrown in loose, and the difference can be the difference between one bin and two.

Keep it level with the rim. Anything above that can't legally be transported, and the driver will either ask you to pull the excess out or charge for a return trip.

If rain is forecast and you're filling with green waste, load as close to collection as you can. Wet clippings weigh close to double dry ones, and that's a fast way into an excess weight charge.

Frequently Asked Questions

How far ahead should I book? +

A day is usually enough. For a 6m³ or 9m³, or for a weekend, give us a bit more notice.

Can I change the collection date after booking? +

Yes. Ring before the scheduled collection and we'll move it.

What if I've booked the wrong size? +

If we haven't delivered yet, we'll change it. If it's already there and it's too small, we can arrange a second bin, though it's cheaper to get the size right upfront.

Will the bin mark my driveway? +

Bins sit on skids and drivers can put timber underneath on request. Mention it when you book if the surface is decorative or older concrete.

How is the price calculated? +

Size, waste type and suburb, with delivery and collection included. Excess weight and extended hire are the only possible extras, and we explain both upfront.

Can I put a fridge in the bin? +

Only once the refrigerant gas has been recovered by a licensed technician. Tell us if fridges or air conditioners are going in.

Do you take asbestos? +

No. It has to go through a licensed asbestos removalist under Queensland law. If you suspect asbestos in a pre-1990 building, stop work and get it tested.
